City of Melbourne to hold workshop on Opportunity Zone
Opportunity Zone Information Session to be Held March 29
The City of Melbourne is hosting a City Council workshop and information session on the U.S. Treasury Department’s Opportunity Zone program on March 29 at 5:30 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chamber.
Developers, business owners, property owners, realtors and economic development professionals are encouraged to attend. The presentation will cover the following topics:
- Opportunity Zones within the state of Florida and in the City of Melbourne.
- Role of local governments and economic development officials.
- Benefits of Opportunity Zones.
