Update 11:05pm | There is no longer a threat to the public. The scene is secure and the victim is in stable condition at a local hospital. We appreciate the community’s patience and assistance.
There is a large police presence in the area of Malabar Rd and Eldron Blvd in response to a shooting investigation. We’re asking citizens to be on the look out for a white male, 40 years old, with a full beard, dark shirt and jeans. He may be on foot and should be considered armed and dangerous. If you see this male do not approach him, please call 911.
