It is important to note that this is an opinion and only an opinion. Solar X Homes has been nothing short of AMAZING to work with. There process and professional approach is refreshing and very understandable. I am sorry if your experience was not the same, but all of the people that I have engaged with love their experience and would refer them to their friends and family. God Bless.

Shan is a VP at CrossCountry mortgage. Cathy Rivera using her full name Amira Catalina Rebolledo works for them. CrossCountry is now providing mortgages to Solar X Customers. This can all be easily verified.

    All,
It is very interesting how they moved to a different lender other than Guild Mortgage (whom I got my loan through) and just recently also re- registered their name as Solar X Homes. Not sure what name they’re under as it seems like they change their names often… last I saw was Steal X.
I am currently waiting on an answer from Franklin Rivera, who I’m guessing is the construction contractor of Silver Palm Homes, brother of Richard and has taken it upon himself to fix all the warranty issues.
He is supposed to answer me in regards to getting the solar panels worked on since the readings are negative according to Enphase company.
There was no installation professional listed at Enphase so apparently the investor (Edward Soares), according to Franklin, is waiting on a case number, its been over 2 weeks now…

I also got a regular water heater instead of the one advertised which was supposed to be”hybrid”, still waiting on answer for over 2 months now…

BEWARE of these (cough) people. They are animals. Richard and Cathy Rivera start up companies under different names to allude law enforcement. Look up lawsuits under The Eco Home Company where they scammed buyers under that name as well.

Do NOT DEAL WITH THEM IF YOU ARE PLANNING ON BUILDING A CUSTOM HOME!!!!
I started my custom home project with them in the beginning of Jan 2021. They had me work with an outside architect and for 2 months, he could not get drawings done to my liking. So SXH decided to alter one of their “designs” and create the design themselves. We signed the contract and i put more than 50% deposit down. We agreed on the layout and was told the full set of plans would be done by 6/29/21. Well the date passed and no word from SXH, so i would email them and would be told the plans will be done “next week.” This happened for 2 months. Finally i get one of the partners Richard to respond and he tells me, “you have my word, plans will be done by next Friday.” Well Thursday i texted SXH to make sure they are aware Friday the plans should be done. Friday came and no word from SXH. So i send my notice of termination of contract and request for my deposit to be returned. No response from SXH. Magically the following week after my notice of termination, i get an email stating my plans are “done” but still need to get the structural plans done. Basically, they just created the drawing in AutoCad over the weekend so they can say they did some work. I informed them it was done after my notice was sent and did not want to move forward with them anymore and requested a return of my deposit. They refused and ignored any attempt of communication . I had my attorney file a lawsuit against them!! Be warned, they are scamming people and have several other home builder companies that have failed and have been sued and a ton of bad reviews. They scam people out of money and when that company gets bad reviews and have complaints filed against them. They open another company.. solar x homes and so on. They seem very nice at first, but they are scammers!!

I have been searching for a qualified home builder for the last few months. I came across a SteelX home for sale that sounded too good to be true. I made an appointment to view their model home and began doing some research on the company. Being in the construction industry myself, I understand there are material shortages and rapid inflation taking place throughout our nation. For this reason, I have been extra cautious before signing a contract with anyone other than a reputable builder. After reading terrible complaints on the BBB, horrible Google reviews, and now reading the complaints in this article, I’m steering clear of this company! Thank you for shedding light on this matter and hopefully preventing another family from having to go through such a terrible experience.
